Rotterdam/Eindhoven, 5 April 2007 – Residents of the Eindhoven region can look forward to an exciting “first” on 9 June, 2007. Top Dutch band Bløf is set to go one step further with a concert filling the entire evening at a stadium. The concert at the Philips Stadium will be made possible by E.ON, provider of energy to more than 200,000 households in the Eindhoven region.

Eindhoven is bubbling with new energy – and that’s exactly what Bløf is all about. Constantly surpassing its limits, the band generates a trail of great new hits. E.ON was delighted when Bløf agreed to perform in the company’s TV-ad. Now, Bløf will give a first-ever evening-long stadium concert.
Private customers will have precedence in ordering tickets between 20 and 23 April via www.blofineindhoven.nl. And the price is just € 12.50 a ticket. Starting on 24 April, all residents of the Eindhoven region can order tickets for €15 each. Usually, prizes for stadium concerts like these are much higher. This is a special discount price - E.ON wants as many people as possible to have the chance to enjoy this one-off concert.
E.ON is an energy company with its own power plants and around 40 million electricity and gas customers in 20 countries. Although E.ON has built up a strong position in the Dutch business market in recent years, its ambitions in this country go much further. The company aims for a leading position as supplier of electricity and gas to Dutch consumers. Certainly, E.ON is a global operator, but we aim to keep as close as possible to our customers: that’s part of our optimal service offering.
