E.ON Benelux appoints new financial director

Rotterdam, 28 August 2007 – The Supervisory Board of E.ON Benelux has appointed Mr. Markus Bokelmann as Chief Financial Officer. Markus Bokelmann joins E.ON Benelux effective 1 September 2007.

Mr. Bokelmann succeeds Dr. Christof Schulte who joined the Board of Management of E.ON Netz in Bayreuth effective 1 August 2007. Christof Schulte has been with E.ON Benelux for around 2½ years.

Markus Bokelmann (40) is currently Head of Controlling with E.ON Avacon in Helmstedt.

Following the departure of Mr. Schulte the board of management of E.ON Benelux will comprise Messrs. J.F.M. van Dijk (chair), M. Bokelmann and E. Sigar.
