E.ON Benelux appoints new financial director

Rotterdam, 11 March 2005 - The Supervisory Board of E.ON Benelux has appointed dr. Christof Schulte as financial director of E.ON Benelux effective 2 March 2005. He succeeds dr. N.J. Kostka, who will join E.ON Kernkraft in Hanover as CFO as from 1 June. Norbert Kostka was with E.ON Benelux for five years.
Dr. Christof Schulte (44) studied Business Administration in Passau. He has been with the E.ON group since 1996, in positions including Head of Corporate Procurement at E.ON Energie AG and as Chief Financial Officer with E.ON Hungaria.

After the departure of Dr.Kostka the management board of E.ON Benelux will comprise Messrs J.F.M. van Dijk (chairman), dr. C. Schulte (financial director) and E. Sigar (commercial director).
