Rotterdam, 10 October 2006 – E.ON Benelux has launched its “New energy” advertising campaign. The campaign aims to stimulate product familiarity and to proclaim what E.ON stands for.
E.ON Benelux shows a long track record as an energy provider and has ambitious plans in the Netherlands, both in the field of expanding production capacity and in increasing customer numbers. The company has been involved in the consumer market since 2005 under the NRE Energie label. In 2007, NRE Energie will commence operations under the name E.ON Benelux.
The campaign will reinforce E.ON’s international identity within the theme of “New Energy”. E.ON Benelux focuses this campaign on a broad target group in the Netherlands. The company seeks to appeal to people with an interest in energy, economy, society and responsible business practices. The message is: E.ON Benelux takes a new and energetic path towards intelligent solutions contributing to a sustainable future - without yielding our grip on past achievements.
The first part of the campaign will run until mid-December 2006; the second part follows in 2007. The campaign, which was jointly developed with the ARA advertising agency, comprises ads in daily newspapers, plus radio and TV-commercials.
