Thursday, November 1st an important milestone was reached for the construction of MPP3. That day the province of South-Holland (DCMR) and Rijkswaterstaat have granted the environmental permits for the construction of the new power plant. The authorities have studied the E.ON-plans and the views of several organizations very intensively. After that they have decided that the granting of the permits is justified. “I am very happy with this result. It marks an important step in the permits procedure. I want to thank all employees that have been part in achieving this milestone. You have contributed very importantly to the future of our company”, said Joost van Dijk, CEO of E.ON Benelux. At the moment the permits are available for the public for six weeks. In this period objections can be sent to the Raad van State.
