Waste materials
Apart from air emissions into the atmosphere, there are also a number of solid waste materials. These are recycled without exception, so that MPP3 hardly produces any solid waste materials. The drawing below shows that the waste materials in question are slag, fly ash and gypsum.
Slag is used for construction of roads and in manufacturing bricks.

Gypsum gets processed into plaster boards and -bricks
The wastewater from the flu gas desulphurization installation is purified on-site. The purified water can be drained into the surface water. The silt left as a residue after purification is thickened and stored in an external waste depot.
